Rather than spending time assembling individual sandwiches, try this quick twist on hot.

2 tbsp mayonnaise
2 tsp dijon mustard
1 cup fresh broccoli florets – chopped
1 8 oz cubed deli ham
1/2 small onion –  chopped
8 o swiss cheese, grated
1 tbsp olive oil
2 pkg crescent roll dough
1 oz parmesan cheese, grated

  1. Preheat oven to 450°F.  Combine mayonnaise and mustard in a medium bowl.  Add the broccoli, ham, onion and half of the Swicc cheese to the mayonnaise and mustard mixture.

  2. Lightly brush a pan with 1 tsp of oil.   Unroll 2 (8 oz) packages refrigerated crescent rolls; do not separate.  Arrange dough with longest sides of rectangles across width of baking stone.  Toll dough to seal seams.
  3. Starting on longest sides of baking stone, cut sides of dough into eight strips, about 1 1/2 inches wides and 3 inches long.  Scoop filling evenly over center of dough.
  4. Starting at on end, lift one strip of dough; twist one turn and lay across top of filling.  Repeat, alternating strips of dough to form a braid.  Fold bottom edges of dough up at ends of braid.
  5. Brush the dough with egg white.  Sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese.  Bake 25 – 30 minutes or until golden brown.
